Lost Words Exhibition

In the early summer of 2009, students in the summer term course NET+ART at UW-Milwaukee created work for an online art exhibition. The show was to be curated by Matt Kowal and displayed using the Firefox plugin Add-Art. This plugin was developed at Eyebeam and Rhizome by Steve Lambert. It replaces the banner advertisements on websites with curated art exhibitions. The work varies greatly and the shows rotate about every two weeks.

What was our theme? What stories were being told? How can we reconstruct this work that has vanished? Where do all of the lost words go? All has been lost, only these few groups of loosely organized vertical images remain. This exhibition, Lost Words, fell through the cracks and was never displayed as a part of the plugin.
