We exist within a built environment that is mediated by organizational systems that regularly incorporate grid structures. Grids are meant to compress, redisplay, and reorder information. I respond to this characteristic by creating gridworks. With gridworks I transcode, transform, and process information while occupying a position between drawing, painting, animation, video, and installation.
