Workfile Organization

This assignment is designed to test your ability to organize an Illustrator file. It will require the use of layers, sub-layers, groups, and labels. You will be provided with a work file that is for the most part completely unorganized (downloadable as ZIP here). Open the work file and begin organizing it's contents. Look through the document's contents and develop a strategy for how to separate things into a logical order. The final version of the project should not change in its visual appearance, but will be much more useful in regards to how the layers and content are organized. At the end of the assignment you will resubmit the Illustrator file with a different filename.

• Download and open the assignment work file from our website
• Examine the work file contents
• Consider how you might arrange the contents into more useful layers
• Create layers and organize the work file contents
• Use groups as needed
• Update layer names to be more descriptive of their contents
• Adjust name of the file and Save
• "lastname_TechOrganized.ai"
• Submit Illustrator work file of assignment upon completion
• Submit one AI
