Reading Discussion & Presentation

We will start with an introduction to our Discussion Forum. Our assignment is from the text "The Language of New Media" by Lev Manovich.

Work Session: Project 3

Some example images for title screens will be displayed for reference. Work time will be devoted to Project 3 - Titlescreen and Icon. During the work session, the professor will meet individually with students to help answer questions and assist in developing graphics for your project. This will be a relatively informal in-progress critique but will help answer questions in regards to how you might continue developing your project.

Screening: Brief History of Graphics

During the second half of the class session we will screen a short series of videos about the history of graphics development in relation to games. It is okay to continue working on your project, but the videos are quite informative and will offer a good break from our current work.
