Because of Prof. Miller's involvement with the Schuh Visiting Artist today, there will be no formal class meeting. Students are expected to continue working on their Visual Countdown project. Some preliminary work was reviewed in class with students individually during Class 7. During this work time, attention should be focused on generating any visual assets you intend to use. Digital images, photographs, graphic illustrations, and typography are the suggested media types for this project. Depending on your concept, you should develop these assets and begin importing them into an After Effects project. Any work that you have completed by the next class session will be reviewed as part of an in-progress critique. At a bare minimum, you should have examples of your concept (design boards, notes, etc), some assets under development, and an AE project with some assets being animated.
Second semester Motion Graphics Students should work on the next project, Kinetic Alphabet. This project was introduced in Class 7. The first step will be to create a series of design boards related to your project concept. This preliminary work and ideation will be reviewed in the next class session.
